Privileged/privileged-joanna-garcia1.jpg" alt="" />Twenty-nine year old Joanna Garcia from the hit CW sitcom, Reba, has got things going great recently with her upcoming new CW series right around the corner.  This fall, Garcia comes back to television screens with Privileged, where she plays a smart Yale graduate who is set to teach some academic and life lessons to two spoiled, rich girls, played by Lucy Hale and Ashley Newbrough.  The series will debut on September 9 at 9pm on the CW.

Moreover, Garcia is also busy working on her new TV movie, which is set to be released later this year.

Joanna Garcia is currently in the process of completing work on the upcoming Lifetime television film entitled A Very Merry Daughter of the Bride, where she plays Roxanne.  The film, which is set to be released in December, revolves around a wedding planner who despises her widowed mother’s love affairs.

Shelley Malil, an actor who played one of Steve Carell's co-workers in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, has been arrested for investigation of attempted murder after his former girlfriend was critically injured when she was stabbed more than 20 times, authorities said Tuesday. Malil, 43, was arrested Monday in Oceanside, Calif., after disembarking from a train from Los Angeles, Lt. Phil Brust of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a statement, the Associated Press reports. The actor had gone to the beach city to meet his attorney, who along with family and friends had persuaded him to surrender to authorities, police said.

Justin Timberlake's best friend and business partner Trace Ayala is set to wed actress Joann Garcia.

Ayala, 27, who grew up with Timberlake in Memphis, Tennessee, is the SexyBack singer's partner in their William Rast fashion range and New York City's Southern Hospitality restaurant.

Garcia, 28, played country singer-turned-actress Reba McEntire's daughter on sitcom Reba and will appear in the new U.S. TV series Privileged.

The couple has been dating for two years, reports People.com.

Ayala was previously engaged to 24 star Elisha Cuthbert.

Justin Timberlake's best friend and business partner, Trace Ayala, is engaged to Reba star JoAnna Garcia, the actress's rep confirms to People. Ayala, 27, Timberlake's friend since their childhoods in Memphis, Tenn., is partners with the singer in New York City's Southern Hospitality restaurant and the William Rast clothing line. Garcia, 28, Ayala's girlfriend for two years, played Reba McEntire's daughter on the sitcom and stars in this fall's new CW series How to Survive the Filthy Rich.

Lifetime has yet another treat for comedy fans out there. The network recently picked up its first original comedy in a decade. Created and executively produced by Stan Zimmerman and Jim Berg, Rita Rocks is set to hit Lifetime in the fall, with 13 episodes ordered by the network, to be produced by Media Rights Capital. Lifetime has paired Rita Rocks with their off-net run of Reba in a one-hour block that promises laughter and fun.

Raines star Nicole Sullivan is set to star as Rita, a woman whose unfulfilled life as a married, working mother who rediscovers her spunk when she becomes a musician in a garage band. Co-starring in the comedy offering are Richard Ruccolo, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Kelly Gould and Raviv Ullman.

Network executives are looking forward to welcoming the new show, especially following the success of Army Wives.
