Continuity: When Xavier is at the airport getting ready to leave for Barcelona, he goes to talk to Martine and then returns to his mother and picks up his small backpack. He then goes back to Martine, without his backpack, returns to his mother and picks up his backpack again.

I want to study abroad, after seeing this film!

"L'Auberge Espagnole" was quite an exceptional film about student life and studying abroad. It was probably one of the finest films that dealt with this issue. It was a bit problematic, but most of the problems lied within the aspects of theme in this film.

I have to say I was very pleased and surprised with the authenticity of this film. I thought it was truly unique and had a splendid realism of student life and the fun involved in traveling to another country. The characters in the film were all very clever and different in their own quirky ways. I found it to be one of the most diverse films I have seen in a while.

The one thing that I complained about with this movie would have to be the lack of an ending... I understand that "Russian Dolls" is the sequel... But, come on... The ending could have been less of a cliff hanger! The acting in this film was superb! The directing was quite good and I especially loved the unique original score of this film. As I said before, this film was very unique and I don't think many people have seen this movie or given it the praise that it deserves. If you want to see a good, feel good movie I suggest you see this one. It's pretty funny, too!
