Stole Popov + Meto Jovanovski = Great movie
nixona14 December 2001
What happens to an innocent man in Yugoslavia, who is imprisoned by accident in the time of dying communism?

Great roles of main protagonists make this movie intense and exciting from the beginning till the end.

This movie has got the most part of the prizes in all film festivals in Yugoslavia and was Yugoslav candidate for American Oscar.

Stole Popov made a hell of a movie!

Simply a masterpiece

The plot makes you laugh, and in the same time feel very sad and close to the characters. It is very catchy, mysterious, and it will keep your attention every second of it. The acting is spotless. Svetozar Cvetkovic looks identical to Ralph Fiennes in Grand Budapest Hotel, and not only in how he looks, but in the way he acts.

I have seen Holywood movies with this quality of characters and story. I will definitely watch it again.

Great film

A truly powerful film, a lot of underlying symbolism. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to understand how apparently mundane sins can transform lives of ordinary people. A film whose message conveyed so effectively by the cast stands true in today's day and age, particularly in the Balkan region.
