Los Polivoces are still remembered because of many memorial characters which were based on true people, such as Mostachon (despotic and abusive boss) and El Wash n' Wear (typical low class mediocre worker), Gordolfo Gelatino and Doña Naborita (charaters based on Mexican actor and hunk Mauricio Garces and his mom), Gral. Agallon Mafafas and Juanito Garrison (Agallon was based on Pedro Armendariz's performance as Pancho Villa and both played roles as boy scout - soldiers, whose Agallon had to report to The Pentagon because on those days you were not supposed to make fun at the Mexican Army, if they said on those days they were soldiers, they could probably been arrested).

Other memorial characters were Los Hermanos Lelos, about those two brothers, their creator, Mauricio Kleif was based on a couple of brothers, who were really stupid, and that's how the Hermanos Lelos were born.

This show was one of a kind!
