• Continuity: When Matthew, Danielle, Eli and Klitz go to the house party, Eli is originally wearing a Vivid Video ball cap. But, when they are in the backyard of the house, he is wearing a Kappa ball cap.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew, Danielle, Eli and Klitz go to the house party, as we see them walking up to the house, Danielle has a noticeable amount of cleavage showing out of the top of her shirt, presumably from wearing a push-up type of bra. After cutting away and then back, Danielle's cleavage is completely gone and her breasts appear to be much lower, as if she is no longer wearing a bra at all.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew is running naked alongside Danielle's car, the window is down. When Danielle opens the car door, the window is up.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: When doing the sex scene, Matthew's skin colored boxers are visible in several shots. Once from behind him up close. And twice from the front at a distance.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew is running down the street, the interior shots from the car show that the window is open. As Matthew opens the door to finally get in the window is closed.
  
  
• Continuity: When the limo arrives to pick them all up it is day. In the next interior shot it is night out.
  
  
• Continuity: All exterior shots of the limo show it to be dry, yet all the interior shots have the windows looking wet.
  
  
• Continuity: Danielle appears to enter the strip club first, but in the next shot she is not in the club yet and enters behind Kelly.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew and Danielle are sitting at the table in the diner we see Danielle drawing a picture of a girl with long hair. In the next shot, there is no hair drawn.
  
  
• Continuity: When Eli shows Matthew the adult video with Danielle in it, and when Kelly shows the video to group gathered at Matthew's house, the close-up we see of the time counter does not match the wide shot.
  
  
• Continuity: When Danielle is waiting outside Matthew's school, Klitz is wearing a brown short-sleeved shirt. In the next shot, Klitz is wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Matt is dragged out of class at the end of the movie, his microphone is visible on his belt loop.
  
  
• Continuity: When Eli and Klitz are being chased by Mule, Eli jumps off the Balcony and jumps feet first. Somehow he lands face down on the titty cake.
  
  
• Anachronisms: No one in 1974 (the date of the sex-ed film) was talking about "unprotected sex". That phrase came into vogue during the 1980s AIDS crisis.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matt is stripping on the street, a car shows appears, but in the next shot it has gone.
  
  
• Continuity: When Mathew opens the mail it is addressed to 86 Hillspoint Road, but when he walks up to his home shortly after it shows this house number of 1504.
  
  
• Continuity: When in class Mathew's book is turned to a page with a photo, and then as he looks out the window and the view goes back his book is on a different page. Then when we seem him close his book a second later, the page he was on is an different page again.
  
  
• Continuity: At the party when they come out the black door an extra can be seen wearing a grey sweater. When they walk in front of the extra the shot changes and now the extra is in front of them talking to a different girl. Then when we cut back the extra is with a different gang behind them.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew is coming downstairs to meet Danielle for the first time, the first shot of Danielle shows her hands in front of her, after showing Matthew's reaction to seeing her the next shot shows Danielle's hands behind her.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew goes over to apologize for being a jerk to Danielle, there is a Mitsubishi Outlander parked across the street when he knocks on the door. After Danielle opens the door and looks out at him, the Outlander is missing and there is a sedan parked in its place.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Kelly drags Matthew from class Matthew's microphone is visible on his back pocket as he is dragged to the door.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matthew wants to cut class, we see the campus cop with his car parked in the middle of the road within five feet of the yellow line and there is a sign to the right that says, "Check out with security." When the vehicles full of kids begin to drive toward him, the sign has disappeared and his car is parked next to the curb and far away from the yellow line.
  
  
• Factual errors: The music that plays when Matthew opens the door to reveal Danielle ready to accompany him to the prom is not "Hootchie Cootchie Man" as credited in the soundtrack listing and end credits, but is actually "Mannish Boy".
  
  
• Continuity: When the limo picks up Eli, Klitz, Matthew, Danielle, and the two porn stars, it shows a close up of the front of the limo as it comes to a stop, and the license plate is a bunch of numbers and letters, but at the end of the night when it drops them off, the license plate is a word.
  
  
• Continuity: When Matt is getting changed in the dressing room for the big scene he is looking in the mirror and there is lipstick on the hand that Danielle kissed. When he walks towards the door the lipstick isn't there any more. It returns in the next shot.
  
  
• Continuity: While in the strip club, Matthew's grip on the cigar repeatedly changes between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: When Kelly leaves Matthew in Hugo's house, he leaves one of the two glass doors open, but when Matthew is running to escape the house, he bursts through the double doors which now are both closed.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: At the scholarship dinner, Matthew is with Danielle talking to a couple. When Matthew takes an interest in the man's tie, it zooms into Matthew's face. You can see that there is a microphone attached to the back of Danielle's hair.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: The camera truck is reflected in the windows of the house across the street as Matt walks past with the inner tube.
  
  
• Continuity: In the strip club, the waitress brings three drinks to the table. Afterwards in the shots showing Kelly, all three drinks are in front of him, but in the shots showing Matthew, he has one of the drinks in front of him.
  
  
• Continuity: After Matthew decides not to do the last scene in the sex video, his bow tie disappears and reappears between shots.
  
  
• Miscellaneous: In the first couple shots of the film where the characters are stating what they will always remember, one says that he will always remember Lacrosse champions. If you watch very closely, when he tackles the last man before the shot is over, the lacrosse ball clearly flies out of the net, but he is still running.
  
  
• Continuity: After Matt drops his briefs in the street, the VW Beetle that Danielle is driving repeatedly switches between having its top up and top down. This continues repeatedly for the next few minutes.
  
  
• Continuity: When the two Danielle and Matthew are in the pool of the principal, Danielle's hair changes between shots from wet to dry.
  
  
• Anachronisms: Danielle's car has blue background/gold lettered California license plates. California stopped making the blue/gold plates in the early 1980s. Her new style Beetle has to be a 1998 or newer. The only way a car that new can have the blue/gold plates is if they are personalized plates which go with the owner. The plates on Danielle's car are not personalized with a special word.
