Gently paced romantic drama, but the pace is far too gentle. There is a decent amount of action in the last 20 minutes, but it's too little too late. So why would you watch it ? The sight of the two trucks with their sides painted with large naked women is quite something, coupled with the (by Japanese standards) anti-authoritarian attitudes of the two main characters, is somewhat amusing. The scenery is quite pleasant, and the story of revenge is not bad. If you rent this film, don't expect too much, and it may just reward. Otherwise, an okay substitute for sleeping pills.
