Passable early '80s softcore from Brazil

The unimaginatively titled "Porno" is a passable softcore romp from Brazil. It contains three stories of the erotic, none of which are particularly interesting, but which at least provide opportunities for the performers to get naked.

The first story is something to do with lesbian high school girls hanging out and having sex. One of the girls seems visibly older than the other, and I thought perhaps she was a teacher and not a fellow student, but the plot description indicates she was a student too. I stopped paying attention and missed the ending, if it even had one, but I enjoyed the ease in which the girls were naked before the camera.

The second story is about a man and a woman who return home on a date and shower separately while the other one watches. The guy, aware he has an audience, starts playing with his penis and apparently masturbating. Then they have sex in a variety of uncomfortable locations in one of those montages that were a staple of erotic flicks back in the day. Surprisingly, in one scene, the man starts slapping the woman about the face during climax, and the movie treats this behaviour as normal. Again, I missed the ending/conclusion, if there even was one.

The last, longest story, is the weirdest of the lot, and introduces aspects of horror. A man is imprisoned by a beautiful blind woman who can apparently still see with the use of mirrors. The man wants to escape, the woman won't let him, so he hatches a surprisingly violent plan to escape - but not before he uses a grasshopper as a sex toy in bed with the woman, using the creature to tease her nipples and groin area.

I was mostly just bored by "Porno!", just waiting for it to end. My attention waned constantly, but it does have good nudity, and some not unerotic moments. I just didn't really care for what I was watching.

Sexplotation with two segments as shallow as porn, but a last segment that is innovative

Brazilian 70's-to-80's sexploitation comedy subgenre called Pornochanchada used to have films with titles that were even more exploiting than the movies themselves. However, the so direct, explicit and unimaginative title of this one was not an exaggeration, at least for the first segment. The feature film is divided in three independent segments, and the first and worst of them has a script that seriously is identical to the plots of generic pornographic productions. The second segment is not good either, but is at least more sophisticated (and weird): until the (not that innovative) intentions be unveiled, there is kind of a suspense interwined with naked bodies. Things become much more interesting, innovative, artistic, and bizarre in the last segment, "The cricket", directed by John Doo. Pace is not always the best, but that home situation is near surreal, the supernatural element is quite nice, and the horror end is the best of all in the whole movie. Considering full film with all the three segments, it is a very irregular production from Boca do Lixo, becoming better as it advances. However, it has watchable sofcore scenes throughout it, certainly including the silly first segment. I give the movie three stars. A very steamy and playful erotic outing

This omnibus movie offers three very sexy and enjoyable tales of the erotic. First and most saucy segment: Loose and uninhibited Maria Helena (the luscious Patricia Scalvi) tries to persuade her frumpy, yet attractive best gal pal Bia (nicely played by the pretty Maristela Moreno) to engage in a torrid lesbian fling with her. Naturally, this story offers plenty of tasty girl-girl action and an amusingly ironic surprise ending. Second and most witty vignette - Handsome and wealthy socialite Romano (a smooth performance by David Cardoso) makes the horny and eager Ilona (lovely Matilde Mastrangi) patiently wait to make love to him. This yarn positively crackles with considerable sexual tension, culminates in a highly charged and arousing major sex scene set piece, and has a cool central message about the pleasure of virtue. Third and most serious anecdote: Lusty, but controlling and dominating rich blind lass Diana (an excellent portrayal by the stunning Zelia Diniz) makes hunky stud Marcos (likable Arthur Roveder) a sexual hostage in her swanky mansion home. This particular tale not only comes through with oodles of torrid lovemaking, but also further benefits from a wickedly brash sense of humor (Diana gets pleasured by a grasshopper in one absolutely hysterical scene!) and concludes with a genuinely startling and unexpectedly gory and violent climax. Writers/directors David Cardoso, John Doo, and Luiz Castellini deal with human sexuality in an extremely frank and explicit manner, but thankfully manage to keep things pretty tasteful and spice things up with welcome touches of inspired bawdy humor. Moreover, all the women featured throughout are insanely hot all natural honeys with positively no hang ups about baring their fine bodies with pleasing regularity. Ronaldo Lark's bouncy and harmonic score keeps things bubbling along. Claudio Portioli's cinematography vividly captures all the smoldering carnal activity. Entertaining naughty fun.
