This movie was released in the year 1989.But I'm pretty sure that many people didn't even heard of this movie.It is that much underrated.This film deals with the story of Ravi(suresh gopi) who loves to work for poor people.When he knows about an ashram lead by Vishnuji(charu hassan),he decides to go there and work for them.But Ravi is killed in the future proceedings and rest of the movie deals with the investigation of that murder.Jayaram plays the role of Ravi's best friend and Sitara plays the role of Ravi's lover who works in the Ashram.The entire movie is told in a different manner.Though it is an investigation thriller it is not fast paced.It has a charm and simplicity,only one of its kind.I cant explain more because it is not comparable because it is unique one.Please try to watch it.
