Readers may know that the (late) music composer Aadesh Shrivastava passed away last year after battling cancer. In the honor of the composer, a crossing has been named after him in Mumbai. Aadesh Shrivastava loses brother Chitresh Srivastava to car accident in Chicago
Aadesh Shrivastav, who is still fighting cancer, seems defeated on another front. The music composer has lost his brother Chitresh Srivastava, who happens to be the manager of singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, in a tragic car accident. Both Chitresh and Khan were traveling in Chicago for a concert where they met with the accident. Chitresh died on the spot.
A source revealed, “Chitresh?s car was trailing Rahat?s when the incident happened. Chitresh died on the spot while three others including Rahat?s cousin were severely injured. The injured people have been admitted to a hospital while arrangements are ongoing to fly Chitresh?s body to India for cremation.
Before turning Khan’s manager, Chitresh has worked as an assistant music director with his brother in films like Zameen (2003), Aankhen (2002), Major Saab (1998), Kunwara and (2000).
