You're in for a treat

I watched the movie totally oblivious to what I was getting myself into. I won't spoiler anything of the things you're going to see (hence the fact, there is no spoiler tag above), but if you want to as surprised as I was, just don't read the next paragraph. Go in or rent this movie, just by knowing it's a Japanese movie from the 70s that has a few surprises!

Although one should add, that this surprises are for an adult audience only. The only thing I knew, was that this had stirred some excitement and uproar back in the day. And it's still very disturbing to a certain extent. The torture scenes are pure genius on the one hand, but on the other they are despicable (you just have to decide which side is yours). Having said that, I have to admit, that I liked the movie (it's so wonderful non-PC), but it was nothing more than a torture marathon! ;o)

Fun

A little weak compared to other Kemal Sunal films. But if Kemal Sunal is in the movie, it is always enjoyable to watch.

Adile Nasit and her contribution.

Hanzo a little bit differs from other classical Kemal Sunal movies, with its storyline. I think the most enjoyable part of it is Adile Nasit's outstanding acting talent. The element of her role makes the movie a real comedy.

the ORIGINAL bingo bongo.

This movie is the same as the italian movie "bingo bongo" but it has been made 7 years before "bingo bongo" ...in other words Adriano Celentano stole the story of a turkish movie and became famous through it. The movie is about a guy who got lost in forest when he was a small baby. He lives in the forest with animals, especially with bears. and becomes a bear guy. He is strong and naive. Later some scientists discover and want to adapt him to normal life. Of course thats hard. And we see that its impossible in the end of the movie. At the beginning i thought turkish guys stole the story from the famous italian movie "bingo bongo". I was pretty surprised when i saw that "hanzo" was made in 1975 and "bingo bongo" in 1982. It is an exact copy of "Hanzo" and i think people should accept it. point.
