KBC(Kaun Banega Carorepati) was launched for the first time in July,2000. It is a show which provides healthy entertainment and also helps in enhancing knowledge. The show is full of life, enthusiasm,thrill,hope and fun , bringing everyday with it new stories of people of different sect,caste,age, states or profession . Many people are interested to be successful to reach a the 'Hot Seat' and be infront of Super Hero of Millenium Amitabh Bacchan (Big B) and for which they are trying their best day and night . This show gives the audience a great deal of knowledge in every sphere, The questions are simple sometimes and mindboggling after reaching a particular level. The conduct of the show by the Super Star Amitabh Bhachan is simply superb. KBC.. well a great platform for a common man who has bunch of knowledge!! especially it helps financially which is much needed to common man!
This season came after a long break!
The main thing of this program is that the participants, participating in the program, should give answers within no time in order to get hot seat. Secondly in this program questions on every topic are asked and Amitabh Bachchan creates a suspense when the person sitting on the hot seat gives the correct reply. Over all this is a very nice program from every corner.
This time KBC play along had made easy for home viewers and they can win Big prizes from home.
No one can Beat KBC and Amitabh Bachan how hard they try to copy it.

KBC - an excellent show only if you skip the fluff

KBC is one of the few Indian shows which not only entertains but also tests your knowledge. The show has much fanfare primarily because of the host - Amitabh Bachchan. His very down-to-earth personality and humbleness charms the viewers. Contestants play the quiz to win the prize money worth seven crores, but for them, it presents a lifetime opportunity to meet Amitabh Bachchan in person.
In recent seasons, however, the show displays many personal stories of the contestants, depicting that they belong to diverse backgrounds. Still, those stories exhibit a deliberate endeavor by the producers to boost the TRP ratings.
Interestingly, while the participants try to win the coveted prize worth crores, Amitabh Bachchan himself bags about 3.5 crores per episode.
Overall, the show is a good entertainer only if you skip the fluff and watch the main parts of the show directly.

An Indian remake of a television game show that was first broadcast in the UK in 1998 and now has local versions in many countries. The British version is presented by Chris Tarrant and has a top prize of one million pounds. Contestants have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions that become more difficult as the prize money increases. Contestants have three lifelines which can be used if they are not sure of an answer. If they choose Fifty-Fifty, two of the incorrect answer choices are taken away. They can Ask The Audience. This means that each member of the studio audience chooses an answer choice and the results are shown to the contestant. The contestant can also telephone a friend to ask for help. The presenter, Chris Tarrant, is known for using the catchphrase "Is that your final answer?"

I came here to use this review area in order to suggest. I am a South Indian. KBC Tamil was discontinued long back though it has good TRP. I write this on behalf of all the fans of this show. I kindly suggest the team of KBC India to launch the show in Tamil Nadu too. I really don't know whether it will reach the person/team who is responsible for all this. Just using the website, I deliever our concern. We have watched all the available episodes in tamil since we consider this particular program as a combo of entertainment along with knowledge.

Its a talk show with few questions asked

I observed the candidates who have profile like teacher always get way easier questions than other candidates who are into some technical or management profession which i feel biased.
Atleast initial questions can be of same level of difficulty.

The host, Amitabh, was very charming and used to engage in light-hearted conversation with the contestants, most of whom were big fans of his. The contestants would request him to recite a dialogue from his movies or narrate their experience of watching his movies. They would also joke about how they would use their prize money, with some planning to produce their own movies while others intending to buy a house next to Amitabh's.
However, over the years all these great aspects of the show have been slowly disappearing and the show becoming increasingly jingoistic. The current season can hardly be called a game show. It is more of a socio-political forum. The majority of the questions are either about Indian politics or Indian sports.
The contestants and Amitabh talk about nothing but their country and how the prize money is going to be used for the greater good. Unless you are a hardcore Indian nationalist, don't bother watching this show.

Information for sure but too much unnecessary drama as Amitab sir is being too predictable when trying to create the suspense after the right answers and too much unnecessary information about the players with their family videos and stuff.

since last year the run-time hasn't been increased significantly but the ads make it at least one and a half hour show original run-time is approx is 45 minutes, they run ads for at least 10 minutes and at most 15 minutes. quality of questions are always low, always like the creator of this show has some political agenda. you will never find an unemployed contestant. very disappointed and jiochat wow, what a serious scam that is. that is on whole another level.

well, i was the winner of this show KBC and won 25 lac. in 3rd season play along with SRK, that time it was broadcast of star plus and selection process was very fair, for each question they have selected 500 participant and call them and take details and ask 2 easy question, after 3 days they have roll out 400 and rest of the 100 get call and call representative question them with options and total 3 hard questions and 1 nearest to nearer question asked, and among of them only 10 will be selected who answer the all correct answers and perfect at nearest to nearer question's answer,
10 contestants selected for each episodes and there was no time pass like showing personal details and video of participants who get hot seat through fastest finger first, so all people get fair chance and tough competitions, and total 40 people get chance in 4 episodes of week,
this time it's a fake auditions and then it's a fake video audition which is totally worthless n fixed process of selection of participants, there are such a low IQ people comes in this season and almost on all season broadcast on SONY. that lady won 5 CR. seem fixed because to give sympathy a women after girl's gang raped and murder, and twin brothers won 7 Cr? hell.. how any twin person comes on hot seat? and how it's process was start it was not a right to an equal to only twins get chances for a episode except any special episode,
so, entirely selection process on SONY is fixed and they do through there auditions and video interview , select some people who seem struggle in village and of small village. are fixed.

To win big in kbc you have to be as less educated as possible. Because they will ask questions as per your standards not as per their standards. Total bakwas. Bigger the sob story bigger your win. Long ago lost interest.
