This movie was yawn central. I got so bored upon watching it I started burning my arm with a cigarette to conjure some excitement into my body. The director is a hack and the films 'main star' leaves a very forgettable performance. I usually try to give extra credit to indie, small budget films, but this turd just smells. Please avoid this film at all cost! I had high hopes for this film because it was being made in my home town, but as the film premiered I remember thinking, damn. I am actually in this film. I am not going to say where because I don't want anyone to know that I was in a picture named '97 Brooks.' I hear this director is making another movie called something like September 15, 2003 12:36 pm (leap year). Why is he so big on these dramatic titles that involve a location or specific time. The name of this movie should be, "The feces and the porcelain graveyard."

Good First Time Effort

I thought this movie was fun and interesting. It has great tongue in cheek humor that not everyone will understand or appreciate. I thought it told a uniquely twisted story that not many people would have the nerve to make. Sure you can tell it's low budget, but just getting a movie made, any movie - is a great feat. If you're willing to give small movies a chance, see this one if you can. Thankfully, it DID manage to make it out of Oklahoma - I saw it in San Francisco.
