Michael Mann, infamous for his perfectionism, created a Director's Cut for Ali as well. Mann made changes throughout the whole movie, sometimes only a couple of frames were added or deleted or they were reassembled. Mostly new story footage can be found but some boxing scenes were extended, too. In order to make a well-arranged comparison it was sperated in two parts.
