The good old days of video

Sleazemania and the series it spawned (all worthwhile, but the first is the best...) hark back to the days of non-chain video shops. In the wild early days of video rental stores you could never tell what was going to be on the shelves, everything from the latest Hollywood releases to super-obscure horror and foreign movies. It all depended on the store owner and what their taste was and what they perceived the community would want. This compilation shows some strange movies, I am not even sure they are all on video. This will be the only look at most of these movies that many will get. This is a collection of B-Movie trailers, drive-in concession-stand slides and commercials, stripper clips and whatever else Johnny Legend could get together. This video and the fact that many video stores in the 1980s carried it, was the impetus for many people getting into strange and obscure film, providing these films to people with disposable incomes is now a cottage industry. See where it all began, Recommended, if only for the sheer strangeness of it all.

Fantastic compilation well worth owning!

Rhino Home Video released way back in 1985 a compilation of trailers called "Sleazemania". It was compiled by Johnny Legend and helped turn a LOT of people onto films in the bizarre calibre. Here are trailers for lost rarities such as "Lash of the Penitentes", "The Young Seducers", "Jail Bait", "Pin Down Girls", "The Flesh Merchant", "Escape from Womens' Prison", and so much more! Also includes some rare nudie loops from the 1940's, advertisements for the lobby and a horror movie marathon, and following the credits, a short demonstrationon how a strip artist teaches her followers how to titillate the audience! This isn't too easy to find, took some snooping around, but I finally found it, and was more than satisfied! I promise, there is something here for everyone who is at least remotely interested in something a little different from your everyday movie! Highly recommended. I have yet to see the sequels, but judging by the content here, I'm assuming there's more of the same, so it would be wise to check those out, too!

Too much boring strip teases

Compilation of coming attractions of some VERY odd, stupid and downright sleazy movies. Highlights are coming attractions for: "Maihuana" (which causes women to laugh hysterically, disrobe and run around nude!); "The Flesh Merchant"; "Pin-Down Girls" (about female wrestlers); "Curfew Breakers" (!!!); a hysterical PSA AGAINST cable and pay TV; "The Smut Peddler"; "Strange Rampage"; "Young Seducers" (which has VERY explicit female nudity); "Just for the Hell Of it" and "Jailbait Babysitter"! This is fun but it gets repetitious--even at just 60 minutes. And there's a truly boring montage of strip tease acts (not everything comes off BTW). It gets a 4 for the coming attractions. Not for the kids--some of this material is X rated.
