Great movie, with multiple explanations

I just realized that the life of the main character could be compared to the Hungarian year 1956, but not to Czechoslovakian 1968, because the movie was done before. In the beginning of the movie the man on the bench holds in his hands a Hungarian newsletter "Magyar nemzet". This is just a speculation. Don't forget, this movie was released in Hungary too. Filling follows: Overall this movie is about a life of one man. He changes his behavior according to the term of the year (winter, summer, spring autumn). In winter he sleeps with Kalimagdora always. In spring he is like a child and full of happiness. In summer he makes love and act like a reasonable 20-30 years old man. In autumn he is like an old man, he smokes and feels tired. This is happening to him every year.
