Copy of English film The Blue Lagoon (1980). The plot involving a couple growing up together on a deserted island and falling in love didnt work with the Hindi audience. Teri Baahon Mein was a total flop at the box office and a cause of embarrassment for both the actors due to the abundant skin show it required.
Jackie Shroffs wife Ayesha's last film in main lead with Mohnish Behl who moved on to villainous roles in the 90s. Jackie had auditioned for Mohnish's role but he was rejected. Thankfully!!
