Keith Harris has died at the age of 67.
The entertainer and ventriloquist was best known for his partnership with his puppets Orville the Duck and Cuddles the Monkey.
Harris passed away at Blackpool Victoria Hospital at 4.50am this morning. He had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2013.
He underwent stem-cell replacement treatment last summer and appeared to have recovered, but became unwell again in January of this year when the cancer spread to his liver.

Orville the Duck (and his close associate Keith Harris) are unlikely comedy legends. We wouldn't normally be ones to celebrate the efforts of a man who spends his life with one arm stuck up the rear end of a giant green, nappy-wearing duck. However, Harris and Orville stole our hearts back in 1983 with the legendary Keith Harris Show. The quick-witted duo went on to become variety show and children's TV favourites for over a decade. At their peak, they scored a number four hit with the moving, emotion-packed pop smash 'Orville's Song' and were even able to launch the career of fellow furry puppet Cuddles The Monkey.
