- A girl kisses Knuckles.
- Metal Sonic is called a pervert after looking up a girl's dress, though Metal Sonic's view isn't shown.
- An old man wants to marry a young girl. She, at one point, imagines having children with him, and her breastfeeding. Though this scene is very brief.
- Tails falls on a girl and his hands land on her breasts, though by accident. Knuckles then says, "I never thought you'd stoop that low", a very crude sexual comment, but it is not dwelt upon.
- At one point, Sonic falls on the tip of Dr. Robotnik's rocket and it is implied that he landed directly on his groin.
Violence & Gore

- This is mostly your typical Sonic the Hedgehog action and violence. However, there are some violent moments, such as Metal Sonic strangling Sonic with only one hand, and an aircraft exploding with no casualties.
Profanity

- In one scene, it appears as if Sonic flips the middle finger at Metal Robotnik, though it could have very well been his index finger, as it is hard to tell. Tails makes childish faces at him as well.
- There is a scene where Knuckles is stuck to the ground and says "Now, I'm stuck". However, in the orginal Japanese dialogue, he says, "Shit" or possibly "Oh, Shit"

- There is one moment in the film where Metal Sonic approaches Old Man Owl looking after Sonic's house in a very menacing and threatening manner, we briefly see Old Man Owl scream through Metal Sonic's point of view.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene where Sonic gets stuck on a fence with a glue-like substance and is almost drown by rushing water, which can be pretty intense for younger viewers.
- In the movie's final scene, a badly damaged Metal Sonic is stuck in a live volcano, Sonic tries to save him, but Metal slaps his hand away, allowing the lava to melt him, and we briefly see the lava engulf him.
