I didn't know this is a thing, until I discovered it on Prime. An interesting look behind the production of Phil Collins first album ... and then some. Because this is not just about him - it is also about his relationship with Genesis. So many rumors - not that they are all subject in this here. And this is I reckon something that you can blame the movie (show) for, that it could be more thorough ... but remember, this was supposed to be just about one album.

Ok not just any album ... I mean In the air tonight alone is ... If you don't know that song, stop everything! I mean it! Stop everything and go listen to it! If you do know it ... do the same! Now come back and read the rest of my review ... actually just watch the very short episode! It could have had more, but as it is, it is packed with so many nuggets of information for some it may be too much already. It even touches the subject of racism ... and everyone gets to share their opinion. Well I guess almost everybody, again time constraints.

If you like Phil Collins, there is no excuse for you not to watch this - actually why would you not like Phil Collins? What is wrong with you? Ok kidding aside, highly recommandable to say the least

Making a masterpiece

OMG, this album is 40 years old, and yet it still stands proud as a total masterpiece. And this film is a really thorough and absorbing walk-through of the making of this classic music. Fascinating viewing for any Phil Collins fan and a definite must-see.
