When asked about the original horror film this movie parodies, Nikki Fritz said, "Blair Witch sucked, but it got so much publicity. I can easily say ours is a much better film without all the hype!"
After seeing The Blair Witch Project (1999), director Jim Wynorski quickly negotiated a deal with Pay Per View executives to do a sexy parody. His idea was to take four or five hot actresses into the woods for a weekend, strip them naked, and let them run around having fun. The executives loved the idea. He said it turned out to be a lot funnier and a lot better than he thought it would be and they had a great time making it. He didn't even write a script. He just let the girls improv the entire thing.
All of the lead actresses went into the wilderness to film the movie except Julie Strain. Since she only had a few "fantasy dream" scenes that would be dropped in throughout the movie, they shot them in her backyard after the other other scenes were done. They brought Julie K. Smith and Nikki Fritz along to film the sex scene between them. She joked in an interview that the three of them stripped naked, had sex in front of the drooling guys in the film crew, and then she invited everyone into her house for dinner.
Nikki Fritz starred in another erotic parody of The Blair Witch Project (1999) a year before this called The Bare Tits Project.
Julie Strain said they jokingly referred to the sex scene between her, Julie K. Smith, and Nikki Fritz as "Likki Titz."
