As it inches closer to the end of its run, This Is Us still throwing fans curveballs, which the series did again tonight with an episode whose main storyline took place on the day of Kate and Phillip’s wedding years into the future.
The episode featured heartbreak and triumph for Rebecca who often mistook Kevin for her late husband Jack but in the end pulled off a flawless performance at the wedding reception, Kevin’s ghastly impression of the priest from The Princess Bride in his speech which was originally teased last season, Randall’s thoughtful speech as newly minted US Senator and worrisome hand tremors for Miguel who himself has health issues while taking care of his Alzheimer’s-stricken wife.

Coming on the heels of the success of both seasons of the Emmy-winning limited series Big Little Lies, it would come as no surprise that HBO would want to stay in the Nicole Kidman and David E. Kelley business as they reunited on The Undoing. And they really delivered again with perhaps the biggest “water cooler” show of the past few months as it seemed everyone was engaged in speculating on “who done it” in the murder mystery involving Kidman’s character’s husband, played by Hugh Grant, as well as a slew of other possible suspects.

Two sequels to Rian Johnson’s critically acclaimed ‘whodunit’ movie have landed at Netflix in a massive nine-figure deal. The first sequel will start shooting this summer in Greece, with Daniel Craig set to reprise his role as detective Benoit Blanc.
Johnson will return to direct and is also producing with Ram Bergman under their T-Street banner. Last January, Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter that he was developing a sequel.

For the last round of horror and sci-fi home media releases for the month of November, we have an eclectic array of titles coming home this week. Vinegar Syndrome is keeping busy with a handful of titles being released on Tuesday, including Deadly Games (aka Dial Code Santa Claus), Cemetery of Terror, Blood Games, Rest in Pieces, The Severed Arm, and Whodunit? (aka Island of Blood).
