From the moment this documentary starts it makes it clear that it does not give damn about things being accurate. History is not there to study and learn from but to forward this strange and not totally clear agenda of Donna Read. In the documentary it is claimed that nine million people lost their lives after having been accused of witchcraft. This is, of course, not at all true most scholars are estimating that it would have been at most 50 thousand people. Further into the film Read tries to pass off a 15th century English court dance as somehow ancient and pagan. Because it's performed on a grassy hill. It was a fun watch, but beware the misinformation.
