A pretty much straight forward adaptation. Having a voice-over telling the tale, intertwined by an actor (playing Poe) saying some lines. Some effects were also added here and there. Silly thing is that it all looks a little too fake. The set looks fake, the costume looks new and the makeup looks like makeup. Even the cobwebs look fake. A deep 'scary' voice uttering 'NEVERMORE' is just ludicrous!
It's not all bad however, and a nice attempt for being a student film (from what I gather). But all in all, you're better off watching the Simpsons version. =) Same.
