A little bit of scary touch in the 100-Acre Wood.
OllieSuave-00730 December 2016
This is a made-for-video movie from Disney, based on the 22nd full-length animated feature film. It contains two stories featuring the lovable bear Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends Piglet, Roo, Eeyore, Owl and Gopher.

The stories feature plots mostly based on Piglet and his daring mission in trying to be brave in a couple of spooky and scary situations. It's full of adventures, light-hearted humor and messages of friendship - all set behind the innocent, carefree and peaceful One Hundred Acre Wood.

Though not as great as the original Winnie-the-Pooh movie, these stories continue the whimsical and thoughtfulness of the Winnie-the-Pooh adventures and are great for the entire family, leaving unforgettable childhood memories.

Pooh Spookiness
zsofikam21 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
As I have previously mentioned, I have always loved Winnie the Pooh for its charming stories, endearing characters, lovely music, vivid scenery, and tender friendships. A Knight To Remember: I love how Piglet gets to be the star in this episode and Tigger makes for a great Bishop of Bounce. It was also pretty funny how the dragon turns out to be Eeyore all along. The attic is suitably creepy especially when combined with the storm and no matter how many times I see it I still laugh when Rabbit gets turned into a frog. Not to mention, this was what first introduced me to the idea of Chess, and I've grown to become a very good player if I do say so myself. Rock-A-Bye Pooh Bear: Piglet's nightmare was very weird and bizarre which adds to the spookiness factor. Plus, I think we've all had dreams like that. After waking up, Piglet is worried that his nightmare will come true and tries everything in his ability to prevent himself from going to sleep for fear of having the same dream. Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit are, as always, great friends to Piglet and try to help him overcome his fear and get to sleep by having him count sheep (a disguised Tigger) and have Tigger pretended to be the Sandman. At the end, a storm comes and blows away Tigger, Rabbit, and Pooh just like in Piglet's nightmare. Piglet later finds his friends and together they all sleep over at Piglet's house. Overall: I love all things Winnie the Pooh and I love both the stories packaged in Spookable Pooh. There is some great dialogue such as "Must be Spring, The knights are getting shorter" and "There's all sorts of fun hiding around this house. All we gotta do is seek it." The animation has a beautiful and haunting quality to it. I also like how in both stories Piglet gets to have a chance to be a hero. PS: For some reason the IMDb page spells John Fiedler's name as John Biedler.

Spooky fun with Pooh and friends!
TheLittleSongbird6 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
As a big fan of Winnie the Pooh and of the TV series The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, I love the video Spookable Pooh. It has everything I love about the show, beautiful animation and music, great vocal talent, timeless characters, very funny writing and simple stories that have such endearing childhood innocence.

"A Knight to Remember" has a very cute, if not exactly scary(apart from a very Tim Burton-like attic), story, and while I love all the characters, Tigger really does make a great Bish-up of Bounce don't you think, it is adorable little Piglet who steals the show. The animation is very colourful and the music bounces along, while there are some great quotes especially "There's all sorts of fun hiding around in this house. All we gotta do is seek it!" and "Must be Spring. The knights are getting shorter."

"Rock a Bye Pooh Bear" is an episode I love just as much. While the dream itself is nightmarish(and weird) in a sense and the storm is enough to knock down a stadium, it is a very sweet and touching story at its core. It really is a reminder that Pooh, Tigger and Rabbit were such good friends to try to help Piglet through his nightmare. The animation has a beautiful and sometimes haunting quality to it, apart from one small instance where Piglet looks a tad odd, and there is some great dialogue especially "now if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to take a five hour ice-cold bath"

In conclusion, great spooky fun. 10/10 Bethany Cox
