Amazing

I've never seen anything like this. It's wayyyy out there. The production has that strange mid-90s feel, similar to Goosebumps. The concept is very original. Young kids ages 10-17 write stories which are then professionally produced with screen writers, actors, and full cast/crew. The stories coming from kids in the late 90s seems more insightful than the Hollywood/Independent films of our time.

Each story has a good presentation and promotes good morals with goofy, often ridiculous circumstances. I highly recommend this to kids and even teenagers with nothing to do like myself. Light up your roach and prepare to have your life changed, for the better.

An excellent place for aspiring writers!

"Incredible Story Studios" is not only a show of many short films, but they are short films based on short storied sent in by teens who are aspiring writers! That is what I found most interesting about it that they had cared less about professionals and decided to give teens a chance to shine. This is a wonderful idea, in my opinion because it shows not only what it's like to have your story made into a film or how to write a proper story, but what it is really like to be a writer in the media because not all of them are chosen and many stories of writers will be turned down. I remember watching this show when I was younger and was always interested in writing a story and sending it in, myself, were I not seven at the time. Nevertheless, I found it to be a wonderful idea of young aspiring writers to send in their short stories into a contest to be made into a short movie. As an aspiring writer, I regret not sending in a story of my own and seeing what it would turn out to be.

fluffy fun

I am utterly confused by the low rating of this series on IMDb. Surely the series should be judged on its own merits, as a television series for young people. On those terms, it is not only respectable but occasionally quite fun and even audacious in its reliance on young storytellers.

I have two bargain DVD collections of episodes. The one committed to stories of "sibling rivalry" is the better, with one story about a prince turned to Limburger cheese by a witch (a young Elvis impersonator helps try to break the spell), and another about an attempt to save the Prime Minister of Canada from a mad scientist by two young heroes who send themselves by post to Canada's capitol, only to get lost along the way (sent to O-maha instead of O-ttawa). Absolutely silly, fluffy fun, this series makes me wish I were 14 again!

Every episode is introduced by a young aspiring Hollywood mogul and her schlepper assistant. Not a great work of art, but I found it entertaining as heck. my nieces liked it, too. What's the matter with people voting here, have they lost all sense of fun? Would have been a '9' for its genre, but I'll give it 10 to balance all the spoil-sports here.

Inspiring

This was one of my favorite tv shows growing up. The fact that it took real kids' stories and televised them into dramas for others to see was so inspiring. Also, the fact that it was shot in Saskatchewan and featured on YTV was a bonus, but the film industry here is now dead thanks to an oil hungry government.
