Ajay Devgn, On An Average, Delivered 7 – 8 Films In A Year(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Ajay Devgn has kickstarted this year with great numbers in his supernatural horror flick Shaitaan. The film, which opened at 15.21 crore, has maintained a good hold over the week as well. This will be a moral booster for his upcoming films. The actor is ready with as many as four more releases at the box office.
However, there was once a time when the actor used to frequently drop 7 – 8 films a year. While he delivered 8 films in a year twice, he also delivered 7 films a year twice. His third best was obviously delivering 6 films a year, still better than actors in today’s era.
However, how these films worked at the box office actually brings forth the reality. Out of the 8 films he delivered twice, none was a hit. In fact, even when he delivered 7 films a year twice,...

Fighter Box Office To Avenge Every Single Indian Air Force Disaster Film In Bollywood ( Photo Credit – Viacom18 Studios / YouTube )
Hrithik Roshan plays an Indian Air Force Officer in the upcoming film Fighter. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film is all set to release on January 25, 2024. The film is about a group of Iaf fighters who come together for a mission against Pakistan. It also stars Deepika Padukone, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Shaikh as Indian Air Force officers.
After watching the cast look terrific in uniforms, we thought we would research a bit about men and women in uniform on-screen. To our surprise, while there are plenty of films made on the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Navy remain much unexplored on-screen.
Quite a few of the films have Iaf as the backdrop, while there are rare films made on the Indian Air Force that offer a...

Back in the days when technology was not as advanced as today, Veeru Devgan choreographed some of the most interesting action sequences for Bollywood, making his actors' and stuntmen's safety top priority.
The Hindi film fraternity remembered all this and more about the veteran, who died here on Monday at the age of 85.
Remembering Veeru as a responsible director, actress Madhuri Dixit Nene told Ians: "He was such a caring action director who used to encourage us, but at the same time was very cautious about our safety. When he choreographed an action scene, he kept safety in mind. He was such a wonderful human being."
Actor-director Satish Kaushik, who had worked with him as an actor and director, was emotional after he returned from the funeral of his "Veeru paaji".
"He was such a gentleman. He was a 'Punjab ka puttar' in the true sense and had a huge heart.

"Rip Veeru Devganji. A legend of Hindi cinema. Left his mark at a time when 'pure action' without VFX was the order of the day. Heartfelt condolences to Ajay Devgn and Kajol.

Here at BollySpice, we love to learn and write about all aspects of the Hindi film industry. The stars and the films, of course, but we also love to write about the directors, the musicians, the singers, the choreographers and producers. Sometimes we get the cool chance to talk to someone involved in the production companies and businesses that make and promote the films we love. Last week, I got one of those unique opportunities. I would like to introduce you to Shailja Gupta, a woman of many different talents. She began as a web designer, went on to create a vast technology company, she writes and directs films and is an artist. She has handled the international marketing for films like Choker Bali, is the woman behind developing the merchandise and toys to promote Ra.One, and now is head of Red Chillies Entertainment USA. Yes, Red Chillies, which is...

Bollywood has been an old companion of Indian patriotism. It began with pro-British films like Gyan Mukherjee’s Kismet (1943) and are now delivering films like Rang De Basanti (2006). The transformation of patriotic films has been quite incredible in both form and content.
Manoj Kumar is the man whose face flashes in front of our eyes whenever we think of Patriotic Films. His films, Upkar, Purab Aur Paschim, Hindustan Ki Kasam and Kranti had been the yardsticks of patriotism in Bollywood during the era of 1960-1980.
In one of his interviews, Manoj Kumar has been quoted saying, “My countrymen are.

Has patriotism been diluted in the films being made nowadays?Bollywood filmmakers admit high-voltage patriotic movies like 'Purab Aur Paschim' are no longer being made, but insist they haven't stopped visiting the theme even though the numbers have come down.'I don't think filmmakers are not interested...at least after what 'Rang De Basanti' did. It created a kind of revolution in portraying anger and love, and proved that young India could love a patriotic film,' Madhur Bhandarkar told Ians. But Bhandarkar concedes that making patriotic films is tricky.'Taking patriotic values and making a film out of them is quite tricky. The scenario has changed a bit because making a patriotic film not only involves lot of hard work but it needs to be poignant so that it can connect with the audience... that's why 'Rang de Basanti' worked and the three films on Bhagat Singh weren't appreciated,...
