Like many soap operas of its day, DARK SHADOWS was shot live on videotape, so there were plenty of on-the-air mishaps, including falling set pieces, actors forgetting their lines, crew members walking on camera at the most inopportune moments, etc. However, rather than hinder the quality of the show, these blunders actually enhanced the program's charm, helping to make DARK SHADOWS the cult classic it is today.

This is definitely a must-see for DARK SHADOWS fans. My all-time favorite flub is the pompous Roger Collins stating that "some of my incestors are buried here." I'm concerned, however, that this video may be viewed by those who've never watched the show, and will end up thinking everyone involved with it was a bumbling idiot. So if you've never watched DARK SHADOWS, please do so before you watch this video.
