  [Claudio takes out a bottle of poison and opens the cap.] 

  Lara Croft : So unless you pledge your loyalty as well... And which one is that?

  Claudio : To the sins and fortunes of Marco Bartoli!

  [Claudio drinks the poison and dies instantly.] 

  Lara Croft : Perhaps not just yet, then.

• Chen Barkhang : Oh, you are not one of them.

  Lara Croft : But you are a monk?

  Chen Barkhang : Brother Chen Barkhang. You have come for me. I saw bright light surround me.

  Lara Croft : [frees Chen]  That was gunfire. I think it was them who got taken away by it.

  [Lara goes to the rack with several diving suits.] 

  Chen Barkhang : Nothing! I live righteous life... here for reasons rooted only in necessary evil as my father was before me when he bombed Gianni's vessel deep into these waters. Now I'm here, ah, was here, to prevent his son from salvaging the Seraph.

  Lara Croft : The Seraph?

  Chen Barkhang : You not know my life's work well?

  [Chen points to the dead thugs.] 

  Chen Barkhang : You sure you not here for them?

  [Lara changes outfits.] 

  Lara Croft : Their Jackanory days are well over.

  [Lara changes outfits.] 

  Chen Barkhang : hey want the Seraph to unlock a malignant treasure we contain in our monastery in Tibet. Since being stolen by imbecile vagabonds centuries ago, we been without key to it. Relying solely on cleansing of our prayers to keep it subdued. Then the occultist, Gianni B., acquired it.

  [Lara tosses one of her boots over Chen.] 

  Chen Barkhang : Trouble we knew. He breathed life back into ancient beliefs, one not to be stopped by any amount of head bowing. And now again it is here. Marco, infected with madness. He has violent mind but not yet the power to satiate it. So we reach for our weapons once more.

  Lara Croft : [finishes putting on a wetsuit]  The true Dettox of evil.

  Chen Barkhang : Where can you be taking me? Thought this was my big leak. Guess change is good at best. Huh, I need one.

• [last lines - the game has been completed and Lara is about to undress and get into the shower] 

  Lara Croft : Don't you think you've seen enough?

  [she fires a shotgun at the "camera", it falls back and the picture cuts to black, the end credits play] 

• Lara Croft : [after completing the obstacle course with the fastest time]  Gosh! That was my best time yet!

• [repeated line - whenever Lara picks up an item] 

  Lara Croft : A-ha.

• Lara Croft : Welcome Back. After that grueling business last year, I decided to build this Assault Course to hone my skills and learn some new ones.
