Good Chance to See the Rio de Janeiro and Sandra Barsotti in the Early 70's
claudio_carvalho15 November 2011
In Rio de Janeiro, the bankrupted Roberto (Jorge Dória) meets his wealthy friend Guimarães to propose a business and he learns that Guimarães has a lover, Leninha (Sandra Barsotti), and his wife suspects of him and intends to hire a private detective to investigate his affair. Roberto proposes that Leninha moves to his home to live with his dysfunctional family to cover up the situation. In return, Guimarães pays Roberto's debts and hires him to work in his company.

Roberto's son Carlinhos (Marcos Paulo) pimps the widow Gilda (Darlene Glória); his daughter Vanda (Rose di Primo) works in a brothel; his younger son Kiko (Marcelo Marcello) has gay friends. They welcome Leninha, but Roberto's wife and father-in-law loath the situation. When Carlinhos and Leninha fall in love with each other, they flee to the apartment of Carlinhos' friend Bilu. But the vile Roberto finds a means to bring his son and Leninha back home.

"Eu Transo ...Ela Transa" is a Brazilian "pornochanchada" (erotic comedy typically from Rio de Janeiro) with a silly and amoral story and rotten characters. The vile Roberto is disgusting and it is impossible to laugh or feel empathy for such dirty characters that manipulate, blackmail, pimp, prostitute, snitch and have no moral values. The true love of Carlinhos does not resist an imported Camaro.

However the film has many external shootings and it is a good chance to see the Rio de Janeiro and Sandra Barsotti in the early 70's. My vote is four.
