Very cheesy.

IN 1967,singer Adamo even outshone Johnny Hallyday in terms of popularity in France. He made two or three movies ,all of them forgotten today. This is the first one,the cloying story of a poor law student who accidentally kills an antique dealer who can lend him some dough in return for....homosexual relations. But a good loyal judge (Bourvil) is watching .For the record ,Adamo sings one song (Vivre) during the cast and credits ,among yellow flowers .The director,Leo Joannon is a veteran, a cheesy melodramas director ("le défroqué" starring Pierre Fresnay is worth a watch ),Bourvil a very nice actor, and the Provence provides luminous landscapes. It's not that much bad after all.
