This film was intended to be a remake of the Norma Talmadge film Secrets (1924). After filming for one month and spending $300,000 on the project, producer Mary Pickford canceled the production and had all negatives destroyed. The film resumed production in 1933 and was released that year under the original title Secrets, and was the last film in which Mary Pickford appeared.
Casting of Ed Brady and Robert Thornby in this film was announced in the May 10, 1930, issue of Inside Facts of Stage and Screen.
