INTRIGUE IN LOS ANGELES is a little-known Italian drama with elements of the spy and giallo genres included, although it doesn't really satisfy as either. If you thought DR. NO was slow then you'll want to check out this one, where a bunch of characters hang out in a nightclub while endless and repetitive striptease scenes play out (in one such moment, the artiste is dressed as a clown). There are a few genre tropes along the way, but with flagging pacing and a real lack of well-developed characters, this is a chore to sit through.
