What the hell is this?? Tonight it is the episode no 5205, and the series is still not even close to the end. I just want to see the screen with the text: THE END! And who is watching this crap after so many years of blank story? We have seen every stupid things in this trash. Alcoholist young girl, whores, evil bitches, die of an old lady called MAGDI, who died cause of a sheet of paper on a stairway. Oh come on. It was even in the news in the evening. I don't understand how could this be on the screen every night!!!! And i haven't told you dear reader nothing about the actors, the plot, the characters, and so on...that's because i could say one short word, that perfectly describes all of them: SH*T

Never ever even try to watch this ******!

I don't really get what people like about it... It is just terrible and boring.

The actors wouldn't be that bad, if it wasn't for the poor story-line. Maybe it was worth watching some years ago but they can't come up with anything new nowadays. Furthermore, I can't understand why it has to be so unnatural. Probably one of the worst series I have seen....(or looked into)

Don't watch it! Don't waste 30 minutes of your life even on one episode of such a far-fetched series ! Yes, better than reality shows, but I reckon it doesn't deserve much attention.

Bad script, and seriously bad acting. I've never seen so many actors without talent in one place. But people still watch it. Okay sometimes it is funny. You can laugh, how lame it is. I really don't know what kind of human being can take it seriously. It's a shame that it is successful. Bad script, and seriously bad acting. For all god's sake, who were those that let this trash on the screen?! The stupid and sorry thing is the fact, that nowadays this is the most popular TV-transmission in Hungary. Millions gaze it every eve, and fan for the so-called 'stars'. Acting performance? Nowhere. Dramaturgy? Even the basic logic is missing, so stupid the storyline, which is similar to a chewing gum - although somehow they have to fill that terrible 30 minutes every night, don't they?

Well... I watch the series throughout the years. I followed Nicholas and Andrew with the other residents of the show. The story nearly reached the 10.000th episode and thanks for the poor choice of the most known TV channels in Hungary, the show is known by millions of naive and innocent people. This people is not educated, but they accepted this a fair story, while it is objectively wrong, the story is lame and roams uncontrollable, few people may know the beginning, when they are young and build the Rose coffee house. The main actors is nearly average, and compared to the lame and dull minor characters, the main ones misremembered as remarkable ones, however they are expert theatre actors... but thanks to the nowhere story, they remained a low-level. The story caused some major fail, which became famous in a famous video-stream site, like Peter is the mom of Juliet or Hanna said, that she received a processor with absurd attributes). This served as an example of a lack of script writing. But... the show over through 9000 episodes created ONE single meme (The company is mine). This show however is perfect for old ones, who not want action, dramatic storytelling, shocking cliffhangers. Yet... I thought this is not enough to make a story with no story, lame script, boring and annoying minor characters and terrible background sometimes, also the false portrayal of the people... ALSO they made a huge error: When Geza used the computer, a camera showed that the PC not connected to the connector.

I can't believe people watch this show...

...and what is worse:they love it.I cannot understand what they like: the absolutely silly plot or the actors who can act like my grandmother (and my grandmother isn't a good actor) The makers are insulting the audience's intelligence.I feel sorry for those who watch this garbage and loose 30 minutes of they life every day.

Incredibly shallow, but still better than "reality" shows...

I saw only two episodes of this show and laughed my ass off, it was so weak. It copies the American and Western European soaps in everything, the only thing missing is the annoying laugh machine after every line that the creators wanted to be funny. The only positive thing I can say about the show is that it's still better than the so-called reality shows. I'm not sure whether it's better than the South American soaps we had to endure in the past years. The show also proves that some airheads in Budapest don't know anything about their own country, in one of the two episodes I've seen one of the scenes was set in a village and an old lady was wearing a folk dress that was probably last worn in the 18th century. It was damn funny.

Anyway, much better than any South-American crap...

However, it's not as bright as a US million-dollar production, but way better than any Mexican, Brazilian or other usual latin title.

Not to mention it is produced in a country that once fell under the red hammer, and this picturesque really shows the changes occured since. But really. And the chix are just hot.

So, it worth watching a couple times, (but not at all times;)

Light soap opera that catches your attention

Although there are no Academy Award level performances in this local Hungarian program (not that there are in any soap opera anywhere), still this show manages to catch the attention of over 6 million viewers across the country every evening. The plot lines are situations that can and do arise in daily life, and I find myself looking forward to each succeeding episode. In september of 2003, I was fortunate enough to meet two of the show's stars, Otto Kinizsi and Anita Deutsch. I watch it every evening and enjoy it a great deal. I hope that this show remains on air for many seasons to come! A great watch and if anyone is curious you should check it out!

I'm one of these stupid hungarian persons, who watch it every weekdays. It's not a series to get Oscar, but when TV doesn't show a good movie, it can be seen. First I didn't want to watch it, because I thought it was terrible. But sometimes when I was boring I sat and started to watch it, and to nowadays I got used to watch it every day. And I don't want to miss any parts of it.
