This show is hilarious!
AspenDreams Productions29 August 1999
All Shook Up is full of laughs. Frank Gorshin was a riot and I thought the storyline was very entertaining. There has always been a question about Elvis and whether or not he is still alive and having that be the premise of this story just adds to the laughs.

Brett Rice was excellent in his role as well. Frank and he made a wonderful Sheriff/Deputy team and definitely convinced us they were the most foolish law officers East of the Mississippi.

I enjoyed the sweet romances that were developing between Corey and the Sheriff's daughter, as well as the implied romance between Jenny and Buddy.

Grace was an endearing character and I really loved Don as Earl. He really made you question whether or not he really could be Elvis.

If you are in the mood for laughs, entertainment and a little romance and intrigue thrown in, then All Shook Up is a film for you!

Good Clean Fun!

We saw this film in Orlando and had loads of fun. Frank Gorshin still has it and was excellent as the wacky sheriff. The entire cast was great and the choice of Don Bauer as the older Elvis was a smart one. Anyone who enjoys a film that does not depend on sex and violence will love this movie. It's good to know that there are still some good story driven films out there.

A god awful movie using "Dukes of Hazzard" as its template
dawber12 May 2000
A terrible vanity project with a script that seemed like an episode of Dukes of Hazzard rather than a reverential movie of Elvis. Elvis' estate should sue. The actor playing Elvis had no personality with every scene he appeared in screeching to a dead halt. It was shown on local television in Orlando hosted by a radio personality who appeared in it. She seemed embarrassed by it and I feel for her.

Fast-paced, Elvis fun!
filmtalk-220 January 1999
I saw this feature film All Shook Up at a recent film fest and I (along with the audience) were rolling in the aisles, laughing so hard! Frank Gorshin is at his mad-cap-Riddler best as a deranged sheriff out to incarcinate a trio of musical country kids who are always 2 steps ahead! Finally, the kids hide-out at a ranch, taken under the wing of a guy who may or may not be the King of Rock and Roll!

Great site gags, mixed with a clever, moving story make this a must for all ELvis/Gorshin fans! Even Sarah Chalke (the pretty Becky from Roseanne) has a great performance as Gorshin's Country Bumpkin ditsy daughter!

I couldn't stop laughing!
filmfan-3615 August 1999
I was visiting Aspen on a ski trip and friend invited me to see this film. I was reluctant but she insisted. I've never really been a fan of Elvis or the music or any of hype so I wasn't expecting much. I couldn't have been more wrong. I laughed until I thought I couldn't laugh anymore. Every scene found a way to be hysterical and still tell the story. I wanted to see it again but I was disappointed when I found out it was the last day of the festival. I asked about when I could see All Shook Up at a theater in my city but was told the release had been pushed up from Christmas because the producer didn't think the film was ready yet, that they might change a few scenes and the ending. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Mr. Producer, I don't know if you read these things but don't change anything! I loved the ending, I loved it all. I still laugh out loud when I think of that crazy Deputy on the radio. All Shook Up will be an instant classic. DON'T CHANGE A THING.

Funniest Movie I've ever seen
chris11117 November 1999
Funny, very, very funny. It was like watching raising Arizona meets Airplane. Frank Gorshin is a total whacko, I don't know why he doesn't do more roles like this one -- and his crazy deputy, what a great job playing the goof. I tell you, when that airbag went off I about wet myself laughing so hard. Thanks

Excellent Film

I suggest this film to anybody of any age. It is a very entertaining comedy. Frank Gorshin is terrific as the bumbling sherrif. The acting is really well done and so is the production. The music is good too. I recommend it highly.

Made My Day
Sept9 September 1999
As I was waiting to enter the theater I overheard many comments from others as to the comical content of All Shook Up. Many had seen it before and were returning because there were just too many funny lines to absorb in one viewing.

It is a unique story about the possible reappearance of Elvis. The lines are fast coming and extremely funny.

Unfortunately, I only viewed the movie one time and would like to see it again. Am looking forward to its release to theaters. Hope this will be coming soon.
