Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you haven’t watched the season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 14 came to an end on Friday night, and Willow Pill was crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar. Willow Pill, a fan favorite from the beginning, beat out Lady Camden in a lip sync for the crown to Cher’s cover of Abba’s “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme.”
While the grande finale Ru-vealed itself over 90 minutes, the filming took place a few weeks ago at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, home to the “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” show, and it came in at just under the five-hour mark.
This left room for plenty of fun gags that didn’t make the cut, and Variety was in the room where it happens for the uncut, unedited version.

Gimme Gimme Gimme's creator was told by the BBC that the sitcom would never have been commissioned today.
Writer Jonathan Harvey doesn't envisage a return for the comedy, which starred Kathy Burke and James Dreyfus and ran for three series from 1999 to 2001, because the TV climate has changed.
"I came up with an idea about four years ago for a new house-share sitcom that I knew was the best thing I'd written comedy-wise since Gimme Gimme Gimme," he told the Radio Times. "But the BBC turned it down because they thought it was too rude.
"And I said, 'It's only as rude as Gimme Gimme Gimme was'. And they said they'd never commission Gimme Gimme Gimme now because they can't be that risky. The climate changed. There's less space to try out something a bit different."

Remember Kinvig, Clone, Not With A Bang? These are the UK sci-fi sitcoms you’re unlikely to see on comedy best-of lists…
With E4 sci-fi comedy commissions, Tripped and Aliens, and in-development Channel 4 projects, Space Ark and Graham Linehan/Adam Buxton collaboration The Cloud, in the works, a new crop of sci-fi sitcom could be making its way to UK TV.
Making funny sci-fi on a small-screen budget is tough enough without the additional pressure of having to attract viewers more traditionally down-to-earth in their sitcom tastes. Sci-fi sets and effects can be seen as prohibitively expensive by comedy commissioners (which is perhaps why the best UK sci-fi sitcoms of recent years has been on BBC Radio), and the genre’s niche status doesn’t scream mainstream hit. Over the years, one or two stand-outs have managed to straddle the sci-fi and comedy TV worlds, but plenty more have stumbled in the attempt.

It's been 10 years since Kathy Burke stuck two fingers up at stardom. Here she talks about loving theatre, hating writing – and why Richard Dawkins gives her the hump
'Don't write about how much I'm chain-smoking," grumbles Kathy Burke. "Everyone opens with, 'After the fourth cigarette … ' and it's boring. So don't be doing that, Ryan, else I'll say you're just the same as everyone else." She releases a tight laugh and takes another puff. I mean: takes another sip of rosehip tea.
We're up on the roof of London's Tricycle theatre, sitting on two rickety chairs beneath a blank November sky. Downstairs, Burke has spent the morning directing a new production of Once a Catholic, Mary J O'Malley's comedy set in 1957 at Our Lady of Fatima convent school. Burke is a versatile actor, adored for her populist, prickly comedy: she was Linda, the voracious ginger foghorn with porthole specs in...

It is midsummer which means blood is flowing in the streets of England’s most dangerous county – Midsomer. Not only that, but they are also releasing the Alec Guinness classic Smiley’s People on Blu-ray. So without further ado, let’s begin.
Midsomer Murders Set 22
The four stories in this set were originally broadcast in the UK in late 2011 and have never been shown in the U.S. All four feature Neil Dudgeon as Barnaby and Jason Hughes as his ever-reliable sidekick. The first of the stories is Sleeper Under the Hill. It centers around a group of Druids and a Stonehenge-like monument that they use during rituals. A local farmer plans to plough up the surrounding meadow, an endeavor...

Madonna is facing legal action after allegedly failing to pay to sample another song in her classic hit Vogue.
Strike a pose... in a courtroom
Executives at record company Vmg Salsoul have accused the Material Girl of using the horns and strings heard in Salsoul Orchestra's dance tune Chicago Bus Stop (Ooh, I Love It).
In the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles and obtained by TMZ.com, it is claimed Madonna has made huge profits off Vogue since its release in 1990.
Here's Madonna in action first...
Madonna has previously sampled from other songs in her music, including her own and, most famously, from Abba's Gimme Gimme Gimme on her 2005 hit Hung Up.
Music bosses only recently discovered the apparent sample in Madonna's song thanks to new technology designed to identify specific sounds.
Vmg Salsoul chiefs are now suing for copyright infringement and demanding unspecified damages.

I have no idea what this tastes like but I know what those two words mean so Gimme Gimme Gimme: That’s right – Jack In The Box has introduced a Bacon Milkshake as party of their “If you like bacon so much, why don’t you marry it?” campaign, which is actually just a whimsical advertising slogan and not an actual suggestion, as a Justice of the Peace recently informed me. I love that the ad even says “It’s for real,” like Jack In The Box kind of knows they’re cheating with this one. “The new Bacon Shake – we’re not sh*tting you, we really did this!” Just gotta check the Jack In The Box ‘store locator’ to find the nearest location in New York City and the Bacon Shake Shall Be Mine… Nooooooo!!!!!! Damn you West Coast, with your Jack In The Boxes and fancy...

'Someone once said to me: "Don't take this the wrong way, but you look like Kathy Burke."'
Kathy Burke, 46, was born in London. Her mother died when she was two, and she was raised by neighbours until the age of six, when she was returned to her alcoholic father. At 16, she began to act at the Anna Scher theatre school in Islington and, a year later, got her first role, in the film Scrubbers. She appeared in Harry Enfield's Television Programme, playing characters such as Waynetta Slob, and in the sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme. Her film roles include Nil By Mouth, for which she won the Cannes Palme D'Or. In recent years she has directed plays, and her latest, The Stock Da'wa, is at Hampstead Theatre until 14 May.

When (or if) you think of urban UK film, you may immediately think Noel Clarke. However, while he may be the biggest fish, Clarke isn’t the only one swimming in that pool. Based on the cult novel of the same name by Q (aka Ashanti Power, aka Kwabena Manso), two years ago, Deadmeat won awards on both sides of the pond, Best British Feature at the Bfm Film Festival (London, UK), as well as an Accolade Award for Excellence (Hollywood, Us) and is now due to be released on DVD this week… in the UK, anyway.
Written, directed by and starring Q, Deadmeat is a gritty urban thriller which explores London’s gangland dark underbelly in a chilling tale of revenge killings and betrayal.
While Clarke’s earlier films, KidultHood and AdultHood, gained an avid youth following thanks mainly to their somewhat realistic potrayal of bleak UK inner city life,...

Denise Welch claimed that she isn’t upset with Jason Gardiner saying she looked like Matt Evers mum last week, because she is bringing ‘cougar time’ to ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
The Loose Woman took on ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme (A man after midnight)’ by Abba on tonight’s show and promised that she would try to do the older women of Britain justice.
Dressed in a glamorous gold lamé costume, Denise looked like a real 70′s throwback and her routine was camper than camp.
Her technique seemed to have slipped though and weren’t as impressed this week as we were by her first routine. However, with her huge fanbase and vibrant personality, we don’t think she’ll end up in the skate off tonight.
Judges Comments:
Jason: 3 In the rehearsal it was better.

Oh Eurovision, why must you only be once a year? If you’re not that familiar with it, then in a nutshell it’s an excuse for gay men to have house parties and laugh at bad European music.
Approximately 120 million people tuned in to see Norway host the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, where this year Germany took the title.
Germany doesn’t usually do very well in the scoring, but this year they blatantly cheated by taking it seriously. They put a quirky singer named Lena up for the title and she half-spoke, half-sang a love song in a strange accent à la Bjork/Lily Allen.
Also weighing in Germany's favor, they’ve been supporting the European economy, whereas the UK closed their eyes and put their collective fingers in their ears – and came last as a result. It didn’t help that we were represented with a song by Pete Waterman,...
