Harry Houdini was thought by some to have appeared in this, but he had only picked it up for distribution and had the original French intertitles translated into English.
Although often listed as a 'lost' Houdini film, this was actually a 1918 French production, L'Ame du Bronze, that Houdini's company picked up for USA distribution. Beyond creating new intertitles, Houdini had no creative involvement and did not appear in, direct, write or produce the film.
