Allen reluctantly takes him in, straining his relationship with Eva, who slowly discovers the truth about their past. He reacts by selling all his worldly possessions (including his mansion) and paying an unannounced visit on his "old friend" Allen (Michael Imperioli, a struggling artist who once survived on the streets of Hollywood as a male prostitute. But now, Allen is romantically involved with Eva (Ute Lemper), a beautiful, wealthy, gallery owner. As his final request, Thaddeus implores Allen to find Jamie (James Duval), another young hustler that Thaddeus once tried to rescue. Against his better judgment, Allen returns to the streets to face the dark corners of his past, where he must choose between what he left behind and the uncertainty that lies ahead.
