This movie is in the same genre as Buttgerit's offerings about necrophilia and this director probably saw both films since this was made two years after "Nekromantik 2". Both take very little plot and character development and attempt to make a film on shock value and gore alone. This film has one thing going for it that the German films don't: STYLE. The cinematography is beautiful and the production value is first rate. The gore effects are just as realistic and the sex scenes are even more graphic. This is definitely not a film for the uninitiated. While it's difficult to watch, it's entirely more watchable than it's German made predecessors.
