Baseball Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle appeared on this episode of the classic game show in the "I'd like to be..." segment. The panel had to find out through yes or no questioning that Mickey would have liked to have been Prince Phillip of England, if he wasn't himself. Two strong clues give away the date of the original airing of this episode. Host Robert Q. Lewis mentioned to Mantle that he had watched the Yankee game the day before the show's taping and remarked that it was a very long game. The Yankees in fact played an extra inning game in New York on Sunday, May 17, 1953 that lasted 3:33. This episode must have been taped in a theatre on Monday, May 18 for broadcast on Tuesday night May 19. The Yankees did not play the day of the taping, which is the only way Mantle could have appeared as a guest on the show. The second clue exposed that Prince Phillip was married to Princess Elizabeth whom panelist Joan Alexander remarked "is going to be a star in a ceremony shortly." Elizabeth II's coronation ceremony was held on June 2, 1953, just two weeks after Alexander made the comment on the show.
