Requirement but not entertaining

Although it was somewhat historical, film wise this movie was awful. You see the daughter of Alexander being born and the VERY next scene she is 12. Then she seems like she doesn't age the rest of the film. Time jumps so randomly. I watched it because it was a requirement for Restoration History class but I would not recommend it for entertainment at all. Alexander's hair greys VERY fast.... The debate happens out of order. The ending music just STOPS all of the sudden. The outfits did fit the time frame though. So in closing, to get 5 pages double spaced out of this movie I will need to almost quote the whole movie. Other then that...it will be a stretch.

not bad sketch

It is a film about the assume of a perspective about faith. It represents a portrait of fights for discover the profound relation with God .

So, less biographic movie, it is a hommage to Alexander Campbell.

Difficult to define it more than a nice try , few precise sketches , noble message and one of religious films defined by its precise target.

I liked the performance of Paul Mercier as Alexander Campbell, like I appreciated the confrontation between him and Robert Owen. It is a film with simple status of kick to reflection, modest in many aspects but not this is important in its case but the way to reflect the faith , life family and truth of a Christian mentor of first part of XIX century. And this is just enough.
