My personal opinion is that this is contrary to what the opening credits promised (a low-budget vampire-flick) a lot more interesting than it seems at first glance.
The story is well written, the interaction between the characters is very good, and the atmosphere that is created is very tense.
The combined effects of camera-angles, lightning and sound gave the movie a feeling a previously only encountered in David Lynch-movies. Anyone in this movie for some corny sex-scenes is certainly barking up the wrong tree, even though it hints at the link between sexuality and vampirism.
But maybe I am just deranged... I liked "Razor Blade Smile" as well. ;-)
