Ephemeral soft porn from a pre-historic era
lor_5 April 2017
Top purveyors of '60s soft porn Harry Novak and Peter Perry delivered this nearly forgotten morsel, notable 50 years later as shot by the great Laszlo Kovacs, before he moved on to drive-in biker films and made cinema history with "Easy Rider".

It's merely a series of burlesque sketches offering semi-nude models on display, likely aimed at playdates in burlesque theaters. Opening vignette matinée is self-reflexive on this issue, with a comic sitting in a movie theater next to a girl, whose bare rosy nipples are a highlight in the slapstick that follows.

"Fracture a Flicker" has an ultra-busty stripper showing up in the theater (she has impressive Ann Howe size tits). Other strippers follow in ho-hum fashion.

"A Go Go Go" has four sexy women undressing to show off pretty underwear, another excuse to view bare breasts and nipples in closeup.

"Red Lights" concerns Sammy, a Fuller Brush salesman (I can see younger audiences wondering what that's all about, pre-Amazon), accosted by busty beauties. Low-angle tit shots are the segment's raison d'etre, ending in a courtroom where an old guy Fanny (in drag) plays the salesman's lawyer in a typical vaudeville routine.

Not as funny as the filmmakers' earlier and famous "Kiss Me Quick".
