A gunfighter is framed for killing and sets out in pursuit on the real murderers in a bloody hunting
ma-cortes21 April 2018
Mediocre Spaghetti though with some good moments and plenty of shots , noisy action and lots of violent dead. It deals with Gringo : Glenn Saxson , a gunfighter who along with his band : Pedro Sanchez, Aldo Berti and others are wrongly accused for killing. They are detained and put in Wichita prison and , later on, they are condemned to hanging .They escape from jail and are relentlessly pursued by an obstinate sheriff and while the bunch assaults a stage and on traíl of the real culprits . When Gringo and his hoodlums are at a party run by a powerful owner : Livio Lorenzon , there takes place a mayhem , it results in taking a hostage: Lucrecía Love as the beautiful Carmen. They getaway in a stagecoach but things go wrong when Gringo attempts to prove his innocence .

It is an average Pasta Western follows Sergio Leone wake , including closeup faces while are shooting , operistic duels , spectacular gundown , ordinary genre stars and music in Ennio Morricone style .Being a moving Ravioli Western with violent confrontation between Glenn Saxson along with his henchman Pedro Sánchez against their merciless enemy. Passable action scenes with stagecoach attacks, assaults , chases , go riding pursuits and the inevitable final showdown among good and bad guys .Charismatic acting for the whole casting. It stars Glen Saxson as a gunslinger who seeks justice and vengeance and while trying to prove his innocence . Glen performed several Westerns as Django shoots first , The long day of massacre , Magnificent Texan , and Cry of death , among others . Although he also played Adventure movie , such as : Luana , The mask of Kriminal , and Return of Kriminal . Costars Pedro Sánchez or Ignacio Spalla , an actor who usually played similar roles to the great Fernando Sancho as a sly and fatty Mexican . Support cast is formed by a great number of ordinary Spaghetti secondaries as Aldo Berti ,Livio Lorenzon , Tom Felleghi , Ivan Scratuglia , Alfredo Rizzo , Dino Strano and the gorgeous Lucretia Love.

It displays a functional and atmospheric cinematography in Technicolor , Techniscope by Hugo Brunelli , being urgent a necessary remastering because of the copy is worn-out . And being shot on location in El Lacio, Rome and Cinecitta studios , as usual. Pretty good musical score by Felice di Stefano with the ordinary Morricone sounds . The movie was middlingly realized by Eduardo Mulargia . He was a fine craftsman who made all kinds of genres, writing and directing . As he directed WIP subgenre as Escape from hell , Orinoco ; Eurospy :Action in Caracas, Tropical of cancer ;Erotic : La filiastra , Lesbo. His especiality was Spaghetti Western as Shamango , Cmango , El Puro , W Django, Pray to God dig yourgrave, Django spara, Blood at Sundown and this Vete con Dios Gringo. Most of them starred by known stars of this beloved genre as Anthony Steffen , Robert Woods , Fernando Sancho , Eduardo Fajardo and Glenn Saxson .

Strangely written spaghetti western
Wizard-827 May 2013
I know from many viewing experiences that Italian filmmakers have made their own share of strange films, westerns or other genres. While this spaghetti western isn't constantly strange, its screenplay has some weird touches. There is a hero, but this hero doesn't get to do or say as much as other spaghetti western heroes. In fact, most of the focus is on the bad guys he travels with! The hero's actions also don't make sense, with him trailing the bad guys for most of the movie, then suddenly making an out of the blue decision near the end that makes you wonder why he didn't decide sooner. In fact, a lot of the rest of the movie could have gone a lot quicker. Still, the movie remains interesting, with a variety of different kind of scenes, as well as some decent action sequences. Fans of spaghetti westerns will probably find it offbeat enough to be entertaining. However, if you are just dipping your toe in the spaghetti western genre for the first time, you should probably hold off seeing this one until you have seen a lot of the well know ones first.
