An intelligent perspective
Amber-65 November 1998
When I saw P4W I was very surprised by the domestic quality of it. Although it seems as though the filmmakers are manipulating us with the personally told stories and personally decorated cells with warm light and cozy looking beds, I still found it to be a very enlightening film. If you can look past the "campy seventiesness" of it, I think this documentary gives an fascinating view into the Kingston prison for women.
