Finding a peaceful place for the deer and the antelope to play.

Warning: Spoilers
This enjoyable Disney semi-documentary tells the story of the importance of conservation on the African plains near the Kikuyu tribe where a young boy (Johnny Ngaya) seeks to help prevent the bongo (a breed of antelope) from becoming victimized poachers. He finds support in a conservationist while his uncle explains his beliefs in favor of the poachers. The mixture of documentary with a dramatic adventure shows how endangered animals are moved from the open plains to conservation grounds, showing how a hippopotamus is sedated so it can be peacefully with no harms to the conservationists. Nicely done family film that was a bit more seriously themed episodes of "The Wonderful World of Disney" with Ngaya a brave young lady doing what he believes to be right. The mixture of documentary and dramatic story flows nicely.
