Money makes everyone happy : at least that is what a vast majority thinks.

This is a very funny, quiet, little film directed by Joao Botelho. His works has made him as one of the most talented Portuguese film directors of our times. These days Joao Botelho is making very hard to follow philosophical films. This Portuguese film called Traffic has nothing to do neither with Soderburg's film of the same name nor it is at all related to Jacques Tati's classic. What is presented in this film is absolutely unique. There are great scenes of church, vacations, corruption, high society etc. Each character is shown honestly without any embellishment. This is the reason why this film appears as a tragic film despite having certain scenes which provide comical relief.
