Sex & Nudity

  • Mild. No sex and nudity. Characters refer to sex, though not as often as in the last film.
  • A man and a woman kiss passionately and lie back on a desk; she removes her jacket, then they are interrupted. The man's hand is seen on her clothed breast.
  • A girl prepares to take a shower; no nudity is shown.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is on the hood of a car which crashes into a pile of metal pipes. The man's head is impaled on a pipe. There is a graphic and bloody close up of the pipe through his head and his head squished against the windshield. Blood is seen on the windshield and his head. His body twitches and convulses. Very graphic.
  • Severe. Vicious stabbings, close-range shootings, and hand-to-hand fighting.
  • The carnage isn't as extreme as it was in the first movie, bloodshed and stabbings are still abundant.
  • Many people are killed during the movie, usually with a knife and occasionally via gunshots. Consequently, there is an extreme amount of bloodletting from these violent encounters. We see blood pouring from wounds, from mouths, and across floors, windows, etc... as well as on the killer's knife.
  • People stagger around after being stabbed sometimes coughing up blood and this could be disturbing to some viewers.
  • Dead bodies are seen a few times.
  • Multiple onscreen deaths with accompanying blood and sound effects.

Profanity

  • Moderate.
  • Tons of F-words, 18 scatological terms, 17 anatomical terms (1 mild), 11 mild obscenities, 4 religious profanities, 23 religious exclamations.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Mild.
  • Some students at a sorority party drink.
  • A woman is briefly shown smoking a cigarette.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The opening scene is frightening. This may disturb some viewers.
  • An important character dies about halfway through the movie. May be emotional and sad to some viewers.
  • Severe. The carnage isn't as extreme as it was in the first movie, bloodshed and stabbings are still abundant.
  • The dividing wall scene and the climax are fairly intense.
  • The whole movie can be frightening to some viewers, although it has many funny scenes.
  • There are a few sad/emotional death scenes.
