This extremely low budget movie was shot during several weekends in 16mm. The equipments were basic --no video assist, for example. Only several months after the end of the shoot the exposed material was developed. Surprisingly, only one of the takes was slightly out of focus.
Mainly shot in Esteban Sapir grandmother's house in Villa Lynch, a middle-class industrial neighbourhood in the outskirts of Buenos Aires city.
Facundo Luengo, the protagonist, went to the locations always on his bycicle. Due to the fact that the director ran out of money, filming was stopped when 95% of the movie had been shot. Only two days after that Luengo was ran over by a bus while riding his bike, and died. The rest of the shoot was done with a body double. Since this was his acting debut this is the only movie he worked in.
Facundo Luengo's debut in a long feature film.
Esteban Sapir's first feature film out of two.
