Sex & Nudity

  • Two people passionately kiss on a couple of occasions. Very minor and wouldn't normally qualify for this section at all, except that one of the characters involved up to this point was not known to engage in this behavior.
  • The Doctor at one point is shown walking around wearing only a blanket, but nothing is shown.

Violence & Gore

  • The Doctor is shot twice when he's caught in the middle of a gang fight, though there's no blood.
  • The Master, in the form of a snake, enters a man's mouth and takes over his body in rather grotesque fashion. Later, as the body begins to decay, he is seen removing a bloody fingernail and flicking it away.
  • The Master snaps a woman's neck (offscreen but we hear the sound, though the BBC broadcast censors this).
  • The Doctor is shown in some sort of torture device that forces his eyes open.

Profanity

  • Mild language including the word 'crap'

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The operation sequence in which the Seventh Doctor "dies" is depicted in a very intense manner The later regeneration sequence may also be somewhat disturbing to those unfamiliar with the concept of Doctor Who as it shows an apparent corpse coming back to life (and is interspersed with footage from the 1931 horror film, Frankenstein).
