This movie is like a sibirian dream. The music is stunning. - Made by one of the greatest Jakutian Jewsharp-Players Spiridon Shishigin. If you like great Landscapes and magic Moments - get it.

Holy!

Much more than a movie. A dream, a spiritual journey! It's a sacred work that reminds me of why I admire cinema.

Sweeping scenes of snow, a spiritual quest for a non believer
Calyx2 May 1999
Warning: Spoilers
A shaman and another prisoner escape from their isolated camp with the aid of 2 wild horses. The shaman is shot and dies soon after, leaving the other man, who has never come in contact with shamanism, to unknowingly undertake a spiritual journey while he attempts to get back to Moscow and his old life.

This film is delicate and humorous. The soundtrack is perfect for the landscape of crisp whiteness and the film's more tense scenes as the law pursues the prisoner.

This film is good for those who enjoy seeing a lot of landscape and listen intently to the music.
